Description
The Ultra Gauge EM v1.4 PLUS is a very useful tool for any regular, or tuned vehicle. Where some vehicles come with just a few, or even no dashboard gauges, the Ultra Gauge allows you to access a huge range of live, accurate readouts. Please ensure your car is OBDII compliant in your country, prior to purchasing. This listing is for 1x scan gauge, this comes with a swivel mount but the foot is rubber so it adheres to curved surfaces also, it comes with very strong sticky. (note for mini owners works on ALL minis) Please note that Ultra Gauge do not ship these in retail boxes, or include a printed version of the instructions. Instructions can be downloaded by searching for “Ultra Gauge Instructions” online. (OR SCROLL TO BOTTOM FOR OUR INSTALL/SET UP VIDEO. Some MINIs / cars need the ‘Power off Detect mode’ changing to mode 5, to allow the Ultra Gauge to switch off with the car. Please see page 44 of the instruction manual. With 78 possible readouts, readiness monitors and performance measurements, this inexpensive gauge is must have. Fitted in less than 5 minutes, this could save your car should you have a malfunction and otherwise have no idea on things like water temperature. Code Reading – The Ultra Gauge can also be used to read and clear codes. Should your car develop a fault, you are able to read the fault immediately. You are also able to set alarms, for example should your water temperature exceed a certain threshold, the alarm will be raised. Performance readouts – These allow you to measure your times such as 0-60, 0-100 and quarter miles times. It does measure via OBD and therefore wheel speed, so take these results with a pinch of salt. Readiness Monitors – This feature will let you know when your car is ready to go. With readouts on things such as the Catalytic converter, O2 sensors and much more, you will be able to see when your vehicle is at it’s optimum temperatures. Live Readouts – Below is a list of all 78 POTENTIAL readouts. Please note, some cars will vary on what can & can’t be viewed live from the OBD2 port. For example, Vauxhall Corsa VXR’s, as well as the Audi S3 8P platform (Seat Leon included) cannot read boost pressure. These ship with stick back velcro mounts, which are very versatile.
